LOOKING TO BRING A GROUP?

All groups must book in advance. We are a small, enthusiastic team that wears many hats. Booking in advance helps us ensure we have enough staff on site to provide a meaningful experience for your group, while also accommodating lunch breaks, outreach events, and other tasks such as kelp collection. This includes school groups, tours, and any other large groups. We offer a variety of educational booking options, outlined below along with pricing.

GROUP BOOKING OPTIONS:

SELF LED TOUR

Admission Cost
Free for educators

This option functions the same as regular aquarium admission. We do ask that you book in advance so we can ensure adequate staffing for your visit.

WATER QUALITY TEST

Admission cost + $80/staff member

Learn how to collect scientific water quality measurements in our harbour and explore what the results tell us about the ecosystem.

GUIDED TOUR

Admission Cost + $80/staff member

A Ucluelet Aquarium staff led adventure! You will learn about every exhibit, as well as some bigger picture items and behind the scenes information.

TIDEPOOL WALK

$80 / staff member

This Tidepool walk takes place completely outside of the aquarium! Go explore the intertidal zone with a staff member and learn about what you see!

The Wild Pacific Trail also collaborates on hosting free public tidepool walks during the summer months.

HEALTHY HARBOUR ACTIVITY

Come learn about our harbour! This is our most in-depth option and may include a Sea Star Wasting Survey and other hands-on activities that involve collecting data right on our doorstep.

If your group is from Ucluelet or Tofino, we offer discounted rates for all group bookings as a way of giving back to our wonderful community. Please specify while booking.
