VOLUNTEER
The Ucluelet Aquarium’s volunteer program offers a unique opportunity to engage with local marine life while inspiring visitors and supporting the aquarium’s daily operations. Our volunteers are an important and integral part of the aquarium team and because it takes time to become familiar with the aquarium and its diverse animal residents, we generally ask for a minimum commitment of 4 hours per month for three months to ensure a meaningful and impactful experience.

Our volunteers are the heart of the Ucluelet Aquarium. Together, they give hundreds of hours every year. Many are local students earning school credit, and others travel a long way just to be part of our work. For many, volunteering is the first step toward a career with us, and a number of our volunteers have gone on to join our staff.
We’d love for your business to join us as a volunteer program sponsor. You can support us in one of three ways:
