
The Salmon Trail
Six self-led free activities around Ucluelet & Tofino educating participants about salmon every July and August.
Hop on the Salmon Trail!
The Salmon Trail is a joint effort between the Ucluelet Aquarium Society and Redd Fish Restoration Society to share the joy and knowledge of Pacific Salmon with you! This program runs through July and August, with six fin-tastic stops around Ucluelet and Tofino.
Participants have the opportunity to score a Salmon Trail patch by visiting a minimum of three of our salmon-centered educational stations.
Daily: Spot the Smolt - Ucluelet Aquarium (10am-4pm), Stream Savers - Redd Fish Supply Co. (10am-5pm)
Wednesdays: Plant Scavenger Hunt - Amphitrite Lighthouse (12pm-4pm)
Thursdays: Draw Like a Scientist - Kwisitis Visitor Center Parking Lot (2pm-3pm)
Saturdays: Helping or Harming - Tofino Market (10am-2pm)
Sundays: Fantastic Food Web - Ucluelet Market (10am-2pm)
