Lynette Dawson-Summerfeldt is a largely self-taught Bonnechere Algonquin First Nations Artist. She lives, works, and plays on Vancouver Island. Her practice stemmed from her experiences as a fishing boat Captain, a whale watching guide, naturalist, and the desire to document, share and preserve that which lies beneath the surface.
