Become an Aquarium Donor

You can help future generations respect and appreciate the ocean environment by making a contribution to build a permanent aquarium in Ucluelet!

The overwhelming success of the Ucluelet Mini Aquarium has demonstrated that a permanent institution is both possible and beneficial. For several years we have operated an economically self-sufficient marine center, delivering environmental education and enjoyment to over 50,000 visitors.

The existing aquarium is located on a temporary lease and cannot remain in its current location indefinitely. We plan to continue with our service to the community with an expanded, permanent facility located just meters from where we are now.

The Ucluelet Aquarium Society has already secured a long-term lease on the adjacent waterfront. Approximately $350,000 in cash and in-kind donations have been raised from our sponsors and operations.

Additional funding is required for site preparation, building construction and exhibit creation. We need your help!
