A collaboration with Parks Canada

With the pilot project under its belt, the Society dedicated most of its resources to the planning and construction of a permanent facility. In July and August, 2006 the Society teamed up with Parks Canada to offer a temporary exhibit showcasing highlights of local marine life. Over the course of the two month period, thousands of visitors were able to see over thirty species on display in the Wickaninnish Interpretive Centre in the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

The Mini Aquarium returns
